Prior to this, she's administrated mental health care in skilled-nursing facilities at Behavioral Health Solutions, worked in crisis advocacy for survivors of domestic violence at SafeNest, and facilitated mental health support groups through NAMI. Jessi is trained in Brainspotting Therapy, a trauma therapy that targets the deeper level of the brain where the trauma is stored. She is also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) , which can help with negative thoughts associated with the trauma. She believes in the power of taking ownership of your story and rebuilding your voice through Narrative Therapy. Sessions can look like a creative or artistic process that speaks to your healing journey, but it's your therapy! There is not a "one-size-fits-all" , so Jessi likes to collaborate and be flexible to what treatment path addresses your needs best. Fostering a relationship where you feel safe to speak up is Jessi's goal.
